Cookies

This was a lot of fun. (A childhood dream: working in a cookie factory!) The had little cakes which had to be wrapped in a printed wrapper, because the cakes bleeded chocolate filling and that wasn't a tasty sight. The cakes had the shape of a bear, and I dressed them up as sporrtsmen. To hide the chocolate bleeding, I also drew a back view, printed on the back of the wrapper.
I also thought up the name. My friend, drummer (and in this case employer - check www.gummo.nl) just had a son named Bruno, and I think it's a splenid name for a bear as well for a healthy chocolate cake. I like the B with the face of a bear. The cookie factory liked it, too. Splendid! Too bad they liked 'Nounours' better as a name...

Schweiz

My good good good pal Michel (www.)Cassarramona(.ch) gave me a fun job to make a poster & flyer for a small festival in Switzerland. Impossible to even slightly match his brilliancy, but I have no shame & I like doing it... I sent this jpeg to the printers to explain some things about the color separation.

For a short period I did some graphic design work for a jeans brand called Scotch & Soda. This is about the last thing I did for them. A sketch for a series of instore posters. Guess they didn't like it.
And I guess I don't understand fashion either.

Here's a second sketch. Some facts are slowly coming back to me. The dutch broadcasting dudes from VPRO asked me to participate in a pitch for a mascot. I thought two mascots might be funnier, because you can let them interact. The rest I forgot, I don't think a lot happened. Pitches stink. Just lazy people fishing ffor free ideas.

Jeez... I was cleaning up my computer & dicovered twoo things: these sketches for a mascot for something, and Korsakov. Forgot all about that!
